Roberta
Lynn Wilson-Jolley, born Sept. 19, 1954, passed away on Dec. 25th
at her home in Paradise, concluding a long struggle with ovarian
cancer.
Born in San Francisco, Roberta attended public schools in
Richmond, Calif., and Sandy Springs Friends School in Sandy
Springs, Maryland. Roberta dedicated her adult professional life
to children and social work, receiving a Masters degree from
Sacramento State University in 1985. For 17 years she was employed
by the California Department of Social Services in the Chico
Adoption Services unit, retiring in 2005 as a supervisor.
Her attitude toward her profession mirrored her attitude toward
life - thoroughness, integrity and precision, with a dash of
humor. In 2003, she embarked on a second professional path as
founder of Two Sisters Apparel in Paradise, where her personal
sense of style was on display for all to see. |
